Three languages, 540 pages, six weeks. Four months later, Bing's AI answers cite it 2,000 times a day.

Symptomatik is our own health platform in English, Polish and Spanish: lab-test explainers, validated mental-health questionnaires, health calculators and an AI lab-results explainer. We built 540 pages in six weeks, every health page sourced and marked up as a medical page. Bing and its AI answers took it up first: citations went from 102 a day in June to 2,073 a day in the second week of September, and Bing clicks rose 6.3x. Google is still weighing a four-month-old health site, and this page shows that too.

// the brief

A consumer health platform for someone holding a lab result, a questionnaire score or a number from a calculator, in three languages. The job: become the page AI answers quote for what that number means, on a brand-new domain in the most scrutinised category on the web.

// the play

  • [→]Built in English, Polish and Spanish from the first page: the same 180-page catalogue in each language, with per-language SEO and the translations linked with hreflang.
  • [→]98 lab-test explainers of about 2,000 words each, with a reference list on every page. All 98 source URLs were checked before a word was written.
  • [→]15 validated mental-health questionnaires (PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5 and more) with scoring, and 5 health calculators, each in English, Polish and Spanish.
  • [→]Medical and FAQ structured data on every health page, and an editorial standards page in all three languages.
  • [→]An AI lab-results explainer, live 17 June, on a deterministic safety core: out-of-range values escalate, and its facts come only from a clinically verified dataset.
  • [→]540 pages in six weeks: first commit 21 April, all three pillars live by 31 May.

// what people asked when bing's AI cited it

Bing calls these grounding queries: the searches its AI answers ran when they cited Symptomatik. Two patterns stand out. People ask how to score a questionnaire, and the AI quotes the page that scores it. And half of the ten most-cited searches are in Spanish, answered by the Spanish lab-test explainers.

// The honest part: Google hasn't caught up yet

About one Google click a day, at an average position of 59.3 in September (80 in May). Google impressions are climbing, 160 a day in June to 589 in the second week of September, and the site appears in a handful of Google AI answers. A four-month-old domain in health has not yet cleared the bar Google sets for the category.

What we expect and when we check: On Prawomat's launch, Bing led for five months before Google took over. We re-measure Symptomatik on Google at six months, at the end of October, and this page shows what comes back.

// what the data actually says

20x

citations a day in Bing's AI answers from June to the second week of September, 102 to 2,073. The number of pages cited each day rose from 28.5 to 150, so the growth comes from the catalogue as a whole.

4,275

citations for one questionnaire's scoring alone: "pcl 5 scoring" and three variants. People ask an AI how to score a PTSD checklist, and it quotes the page that scores it. Spanish lab-test searches (electrolitos séricos, t3 reversa, elastasa fecal) sit in the top ten beside them.

59

was Google's average position in September, up from 80 in May, for about one click a day. Google holds new sites in health, finance and law to a higher bar. On Prawomat's launch, Bing led for five months before Google took over.

// takeaways you can steal

  • 01 Build the reference: one test, score or calculator per page, what the number means, the ranges and the sources, marked up as a medical page. That is the page an AI answer quotes.
  • 02 Ship every language as a real site. Symptomatik runs 180 pages in each of English, Polish and Spanish: half of the ten searches Bing's AI cites it for most are Spanish, and the Polish and Spanish pages earn 48 of its 66 Google clicks so far.
  • 03 Measure Bing and its AI answers from day one. On a new health site they move months before Google, and Search Console alone would call this launch a failure.

// is this play right for you?

works if

  • People search for a reference answer by name: a test, a score, a range.
  • Every claim can cite a primary source.
  • You serve more than one language.

skip it if

  • You need Google traffic in the first quarter.
  • Your pages have nothing an AI answer would quote.
  • You cannot keep medical or legal claims reviewed.
